Reliable Controls® is pleased to announce the release of the MACH-ProAir™ (MPA) version 8 controller.
Engineered to exceed the specifications for a wide variety of Variable Air Volume (VAV) applications, the Reliable Controls MACH-ProAir is a fully programmable BACnet® Building Controller (B-BC) with numerous downloadable standard codes and flexible I/O options, all priced to meet a modest budget.
The new revision F hardware for the MACH-ProAir and version 8 firmware, adds significantly more memory resulting in almost double the available programming code space, an increase in the number of BACnet Objects to 160 and more than double the available Trend Log space. In addition, the previous TRIAC outputs have been replaced with solid-state relays (SSR) providing the capability of switching 24 VAC or 24 VDC at currents from less than 1 mA to 0.5 A.
For backward compatibility, version 7 MACH-ProAir Panel files can be directly restored to the MACH-ProAir Rev F without any conversion.
Two levels of database protection are supported in the version 8 firmware. The current database is preserved for up to 72 hours after power loss. After that, an image of the database preserved in Flash memory will be utilized. The Flash memory is backed up every 24 hours and the -C models preserve the database for up to one year.
The new MACH-ProAir ships with BACnet protocol revision 16, the most up-to-date revision of the international standard.
