Intent To provide design teams and projects the opportunity to be awarded points for exceptional performance above the requirements set by the LEED Green Building Rating System and/or innovative performance in Green Building categories not specifically addressed by the LEED Green Building Rating System


Requirements Exemplary Performance - Substantially exceed any LEED performance credit by the next logical increment

Green Building Education - To educate occupants, visitors, and the general design community about the environmental, social, and economic benefits of green buildings

Green House Keeping - To reduce the exposure of building occupants and maintenance personnel to potentially hazardous chemical, biological and particulate contaminants, which adversely affect air quality, human health, building finishes, building systems and the environment
